I created https://happinews.blog as a personal project, associated with the social account https://instagram.com/the_happinews_project.
The internal app involves, after authentication:
- Collating multiple news sources, classified into collections, and filtered on allow & block words.
- n8n-based auth for sources, API-led secure credential management and scheduled source syncs and data cleanup.
- AI-summarizing of identified positive news items, and sourcing the image from the original news site, including handling all image types.
- Shortlisting items into a publishing list, with ordering and editing of each item slide.
- Publishing the selected items, with intro and tidbit outro, in an Instagram-ready PPTX format.
- On posting, publishing the edition to the public page, in the same format as the PPTX, with links to the original items.
The entire project was implemented using Claude Code, with the basic Pro subscription.
